Integrated Risk Management Process

Optimum Performance Solutions has developed an integrated risk management process (IRMP) for our clients that contain four key components: a.) risk analysis and control, b.) compliance, c.) safety system analysis and d.) behavior based safety. The IRMP is an employee driven process characterized by high levels of participation and empowerment that provide opportunities for collaborative problem solving through assessing and controlling risk, while minimizing hazards. In addition, the process addresses gaps between how work actually gets done versus written policies and procedures. The safety systems analysis focus on aligning systems to ensure that the goals and functions of organizational systems support attainment of safety goals and encourage safe work practices. Our behavior-based safety process institutionalizes safety as a value by pinpointing critical behaviors, measuring the frequency, providing feedback and utilizing positive reinforcement.
